CODE CONCEPT BECOMES PART OF WORKSHOP

WorkShop is growing, among other ways through working more internationally with data driven and strategic concept development in close client partnerships.

 

That is why WorkShop now strengthens the competence in an acquisition of the strategic design agency Code Concept Development, who share WorkShop’s values and vision for the future. The merger kickstarts with moving into WorkShop’s new office concept Next Gen Retail Hub.

Tommy Åkerblom at Code Concept says that ”via this merger we will be able to offer our existing and new clients a wider service offering, with the same philosophy as a foundation; that profitable and successful concept and development projects starts with the right data and analysis”. Åkerblom adds that ”WorkShop is passionate, just like us, about consumer experiences and have a genuine competence in how to create attractive and profitable concepts and activations. Payman Hazheer, CEO at WorkShop, agrees that the acquisition is based on shared views on way of work and vision for the future. Hazheer says that ”for quite some time we have been following Code and their work with curiosity and understood that they are very talented and operate on a high strategic level of analysis and concept development. Equally important is that we share values around how we lead our teams and how we look at long-term client partnerships.”

Code Concept have previously worked with clients such as Åhléns, Urban Deli, Wayne’s Coffee, Daniel Wellington, Friskis & Svettis and many, many more. The merger goes live October first.
